- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors → Advanced and turn on Developer mode. Custom connectors need it.
- Go back to Connectors, click Create, name it AITuber, and paste the server URL.

Why do I need developer mode?
ChatGPT keeps custom MCP connectors behind developer mode. Open Settings, then Connectors, then Advanced, and turn it on. You only do this once, and it does not change anything else about your account.
Does this work on ChatGPT Free?
Custom connectors need a paid ChatGPT plan that exposes developer mode. Video generation is billed separately through your AITuber account.
How is this different from the Codex CLI?
Same server, different client. ChatGPT connects through the connectors UI; the Codex CLI reads ~/.codex/config.toml. See the Codex setup guide for the CLI steps.
